Conclusion

That’s the book. The NIPs themselves will keep changing — new kinds, better encryption, ideas that get tried and later marked unrecommended. This compilation is a map of the territory at one point in time, not the territory.

If you want to change a NIP, do not open a pull request here. Go to nostr-protocol/nips and talk to the people who implement this stuff. This repository is only the binding: chapter intros, reading order, and the scripts that turn the specs into an ebook.

If a grouping feels wrong, or a chapter intro undersells a NIP, those words are mine and I am happy to hear about them.
